Now a Lush shop is probably the best smelling shop i have ever come across. I have made many purchases over the years and more or less always stuck to the same sort of thing. However me and a friend ventured on a trip to West Field Shopping Center. As payday had just gone..i couldn't help myself but splurging. As I entered Lush, a lady showed me all these wonderful things i just couldn't say no to. My bank account is now rather low..but oh I do smell lovely... Enjoy!
"Honey I Washed The Kids"
Now this just smells amazing! It smells like honey, toffee and yummy goodness. and it is a nice change from using normal unscented soap, and you just use it like your normal soap. I love how it looks too. If you don't want all your lovely soap used up, keep it well hidden from the rest of the family! The price varies on the size of the soap they cut for you, I think mine was around the £3 mark. The only thing I would say is that online the pictures do not look exactly the same as in real life. Its not a huge issue for me, however it may be for some. I love the name too, very clever :)
"Tea Tree Toner Tab"
I couldn't believe how cheap these where at only £1 each! At that price i picked up the last two in the shop. to use these you steam your face as you usually would, pop one of the tabs into the steamy water and let it dissolve. I was put off buying these online as they have Tea Tree in them. I have always found tea tree to be quite drying in my experience as i have quite sensitive skin. However when i saw them in the shop they didn't smell very strong, and I found out that they are meant for oily, spot prone skin to cleanse your face and get rid of the grubby bits. I haven't got particularly bad skin but I'm sure they will cleanse my face and leave me feeling refreshed. I have yet to try these, but i am very optimistic that they will make a difference! :)
"Stepping Stone"
This brightly colored product smells my room out with citrus scents all day long. The idea of this is to scrub it on your feet to leave them as soft as a babies bottom! This isn't my normal sort of scent i go for in Lush, I usually go for there more candyfloss, vanilla scents. However i am in love with the smell of this foot scrub. I think i will use this by breaking parts off and crumbling it on my feet. It also has jojoba oil packed in there to make them super soft while the pumice scrapes away all the dead skin. I got this for £2.95. I am exited to use this because..well who doesn't want gorgeously soft citrus smelling feet?! :)
"Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment"
I have now purchased this twice, and it is easy to say this is my favorite bath melt of them all! It smells soo sweet and marshmallowy. If your not a fan of sweet scents this isn't for you! You simply pop it in the bath and it turns the water a lovely baby pink colour. This cost me £3.95, a bit more expensive than a few others but i don't mind stretching to it! It leaves your skin feeling silky and smooth, this is because it contains cocoa butter and almond oil. Another thing that drew me to it the first time was that it is good for delicate skins types! I cant say anything negative about this bath melt. Its Mmmarvelous :)
"Butterball"
This was my first EVER Lush product. I highly recommend it to any first time buyers. It doesn't smell very much of anything except vanilla buttery goodness. There are huge chunks of cocoa butter that moisturize your skin so much I don't even feel like i have to put any moisturizer on after my bath! I have kept buying this every time i go to lush, i don't even know how many of these i have owned! I got this for £2.50 :)
"Avobath"
This bath bomb contains avocado, olive oil, and lemongrass. Again this isn't the sort of scent I usually go for, however it smells refreshing. This bath bomb is huge, so i will break it in half and get two baths out of it! It is very cleansing and i am looking forward to using it! The colour is also rather lovely! I got this bath bomb for £3.25 :)
"Blackberry Bath Bomb"
This bath bomb reminds me a lot of the sweets 'Parma Violets'. Again i will probably get two baths out of this as it is massive, which is a plus! Its is a more simple bath bomb compared to others, which I like. It has a very calming smell and i have heard very good things! this cost me £2.95 :)
"Mint Julips Lip Scrub"
I have wanted this product for absolutely ages! I was originally going to buy the bright pink Bubblegum flavor, however i had a whiff of some others and this one actually smells like mint chocolate chip! You simply get a little bit on your finger and scrub your lips to leave them exfoliated and smooth, then simply lick it off! (my favorite part!) the main ingredient in this is sugar so it has a lovely taste to it. Make sure you do this before you brush your teeth though! I always make this mistake and end up going to brush them again..
I got this lip scrub for £5.50, which i do think is very expensive for what it is, however i do really like it so that wont put me off buying it again.
Overall, I am very happy with my purchases!
speak soon!
