Hello! This is my first ever blog. I have decided to do this as I feel like I am starting a new chapter in my life. I have just left school after finishing my GCSE's and in fact the day after my last official day at school I started my full time job.

I am currently training to be a hairdresser! My Dad has been hairdressing since he was in his teens, and he is passionate about it. I am very proud to say I am following in his footsteps. I am so exited for the years to come and all the directions my life could go. Just me, and my scissors!

I have started my hairdressing apprenticeship which is a two year course. It is one day a week at college and full time work in the salon. At the end of the two years I will be a qualified hairdresser! The salon I am working at is my fathers very own! He owns two salons currently and they are very established in the area.

I have always been a very artistic person and I feel like hairdressing is a very 'hands on' profession and allows you to explore different styles and colours. Peoples hair really shapes them into who they are and it is often the very first thing people notice about a stranger they bump into. Its security blanket for many and a statement for others.

Anyway... Enough with the rambling! I'll tell you what this blog will be all about.

I will be posting life updates and things I am loving at the moment. I also have a passion for makeup, it really excites me and i would love to share all this with you! i will show you things like new beauty products i have picked up, daily makeup and of course all my favourites!

I am planning to do a beauty and makeup course after i finnish my hairdressing apprenticeship, which  am super exited about!
